MultiTaxServices is a trusted and growing accounting firm proudly serving clients across Canada. We specialize in personal taxes, corporate taxes, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services. We are expanding and looking for an experienced Income Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Income Tax Preparer to handle the preparation and filing of individual tax returns. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Canadian personal tax laws, excellent communication skills, and experience managing multiple client files efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file T1 personal tax returns for a wide range of clients.
  • Review and organize tax documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify eligible deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities.
  • Communicate with clients to gather missing information and explain tax results.
  • Assist clients with CRA notices, instalments, assessments, and general inquiries.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all work performed.
  • Support the team during peak tax periods.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience preparing Canadian personal tax returns.
  • Strong understanding of T1 General, tax slips (T4, T5, T2202, etc.), RRSPs, deductions, credits, and CRA procedures.
  • Experience with tax software (ProFile, TaxCycle, or similar).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital file management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills; additional languages are an asset.
  • Education in accounting, finance, or taxation preferred.
