Personal Tax Preparer – Seasonal Contract

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Personal Tax Preparer to join our team for the 2026 tax season. This is a contract role ideal for someone who's comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and client service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file T1 personal tax returns for a variety of clients
- Review client documents for completeness and accuracy
- Identify potential deductions and credits to optimize refunds
- Communicate with clients to resolve missing or unclear information
- Ensure all filings meet CRA requirements and deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience preparing personal tax returns
- Strong knowledge of Canadian tax rules and CRA filing procedures
- Proficiency with Cantax software (required)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Contract Details
Term: 4 months (February–May 2026)
- Location: In-office, Vaughan ON
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
