Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks following company recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
  • Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage food preparation tasks such as assembling food items and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
  • Restock supplies as needed and ensure product quality throughout shifts
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff
  • Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail

Skills

  • Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously during shifts
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
  • Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and food safety protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members
