Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your exceptional customer service skills will ensure that each guest has a memorable experience, making them want to return time and again.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as food items, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, demonstrating effective time management skills.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is a plus.
  • Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
  • A friendly demeanor with a willingness to help others, creating a positive environment for both customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
