Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Person to join our team. This role involves ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of manufacturing facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and leadership. The Maintenance Person will play a vital role in maintaining safety, efficiency, and operational excellence within our manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform interior and exterior preventive maintenance and repairs such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Prompt reporting to engineering management all emergencies, injuries, missing articles, damage, mechanical problems and safety hazards.
  • Work closely with housekeeping department to ensure guest rooms and public areas are up to hotel standards.
  • Communicates completed work orders to Front Desk Agents.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience in general business maintenance and/or construction preferred but not required
  • Be able to move or lift up to 80 pounds
  • Required to stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Must be willing to work in Whitecap, Saskatchewan
