Electrical Maintenance Specialist

WestCorp Solutions is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to support development of maintenance strategies for electrical assets as part of a major operational readiness and maintenance strategy development initiative at one of our client's sites in Northern Saskatchewan.
Location: Hybrid – (Combination of remote work, and in-person at the client site in Northern Saskatchewan)
Contract Length: TBD
Anticipated Start: February 2026
Schedule: TBD
Travel: Chartered flights from Saskatoon to client site and camp accommodations are provided when required to work on site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop preventive and condition-based maintenance strategies for electrical equipment
- Define inspection and testing intervals for motors, MCCs, VFDs, and switchgear
- Identify electrical failure modes and mitigation strategies
- Support development of electrical spare parts and materials requirements
- Ensure maintenance tasks align with applicable electrical codes and standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8–12 years in electrical maintenance/reliability in industrial process facilities
- Experience with motors, MCCs, VFDs, switchgear, and grounding systems
- Can define inspection/testing intervals and condition-based maintenance tasks
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and testing requirements
- SAP PM and Microsoft Office; electrical testing/analysis tools are an asset
- Regulated environment experience is an asset
- Must be able to provide and use their own laptop and mobile device for this contract
