Our Milton, ON facility specializes in manufacturing packaging solutions for the paint, coatings, adhesives, sealants, and chemicals industries.

The Role
The Sales Representative will play a key role in driving the company's growth by managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. This position reports to the Sales Manager and requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who can develop long-term partnerships with customers.
What You Will Do
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs and business drivers.
· Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including order entry, account maintenance, and forecasting.
· Develop and execute strategies to achieve assigned sales budgets and growth objectives.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
· Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
· Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Service and Quality Control, to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
· Conduct regular calls, meetings, and site visits with customers to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for added value.
· Monitor market trends and competitor activities, gathering intelligence on pricing, products, and lead times.
· Prepare and submit monthly reports summarizing key account activity and market insights.
· Participate in price negotiations with the Sales Manager.
· Provide accurate monthly and year-end sales forecasts and support sales budget planning.
· Attend trade shows and industry events to stay informed on market developments and trends.
Knowledge & Qualifications
Education and/or credentials in Business Administration or a related field
5+ years of experience in industrial or distribution sales, preferably in packaging or related products.
Proven experience building and managing customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and interpersonal.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Proven leadership and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
