Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Snow Shoveler to join our outdoor maintenance team. This role is essential for ensuring safe and accessible pathways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and be physically capable. Prior experience is not needed, as long as you are willing to work. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the safety and appearance of customers properties. We usually start at 5am and shovelers are often done in 4-6 hours depending on the amount of snow that falls. Night shifts may be called for if the snow falls throughout the day and ends in the afternoon/evening.

Duties

  • Clearing snow from walkways, driveways, and other designated areas using shovels.
  • Applying ice melt or salt to prevent ice formation and ensure safety during winter months. (Only on a select few properties, no salt for the majority)

Requirements

  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in cold weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and the ability to recognize potential hazards on-site.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work during winter weather conditions are required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
