We are an early-stage startup building a new application with strong growth potential. We are currently in the MVP / early development phase and are assembling a small, committed founding team to bring the product to life.

This is a startup opportunity, not a traditional salaried role. Team members will be compensated with equity/shares during the initial stage, with the goal of transitioning to paid roles as the company grows or secures funding.

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and services, ensuring seamless integration across front-end and back-end systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, application development, and software development, with experience working in agile environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as AWS, Azure, and various APIs, contributing to innovative projects that impact our business operations.

Duties

• Develop and maintain robust web applications using technologies like JavaScript, C#, Java, Python, and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails and .NET.
• Design and implement scalable back-end services and APIs utilizing REST principles, integrating with databases like MySQL and SQL Server.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, plan sprints, and deliver high-quality software solutions following Agile methodologies.
• Manage source code repositories using tools like GitHub, Git, and SVN, ensuring version control best practices.
• Optimize application performance on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, leveraging services like virtual machines, storage, and serverless functions.
• Write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices for front-end development with technologies including JavaScript and frameworks like or React.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software reliability and security.
• Maintain documentation for all development activities, APIs, and system configurations.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in web development, cloud computing, and application architecture to continuously improve our technology stack.

Skills

• Proven experience in full-stack web development with proficiency in both front-end (JavaScript, HTML/CSS) and back-end (C#, Java, Python) programming languages.
• Strong understanding of database management systems such as MySQL and SQL Server; experience with database design and optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure, along with deployment automation tools.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and API management.
• Knowledge of version control systems like GitHub, Git, or SVN for collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with application frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, .NET, or similar technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux environments for deployment or development purposes is preferred.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
