Overview:

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer, who enjoys building modern mobile applications and websites. You'll work on both the frontend and backend, help design reusable components and make sure our systems are efficient, stable, easy to maintain.

Location: Toronto – in person or remote within Canada

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain high-quality web applications with a focus on performance and usability
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and improve both frontend and backend features
  • Contribute to shared UI components and internal tools that improve development efficiency
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
  • Integration with APIs and third-party services
  • Participate in code reviews, deployments, and problem-solving across the stack
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of HTML, modern CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with Vue 3 (especially Composition API) and TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with / NestJS
  • Comfortable writing and understanding SQL queries
  • Familiarity with unit testing tools like Vitest or Jest
  • Experience working with shared component libraries
  • Basic understanding of Linux: package management, networking basics, system admin essentials

Bonus Skills:

  • Understanding of Docker fundamentals: pulling images, running containers, creating volumes and networks
  • Good grasp of core web concepts like HTTP, TCP/IP, MVC architecture and the client-server model
  • Experience with Prisma ORM or Histoire/Storybook
