About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Associate to join their growing Family Law group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled litigator to work on a diverse range of family law files at a firm with a strong reputation. A portable practice or existing book of business is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in family law proceedings, including hearings and trials
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents
- Identify, analyze, and distill complex legal issues into clear, client-focused strategies
- Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice
- Advocate effectively and professionally on behalf of clients
- Manage a full caseload from initiation to resolution
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
- 4+ years of experience in family law
- Strong litigation, drafting, and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing demands and work effectively under pressure
- Empathy, integrity, and a client-focused approach
