Junior Associate Lawyer

Our North Vancouver based boutique law firm is rapidly growing and we urgently need to add a Junior Associate Lawyer to our team. 1 year experience required. Preference will be given to juniors with family law, civil litigation, personal injury law, or corporate law experience during or post articles. Must have an active LSBC license.

85K base to start with target earnings of 100K at year three. Fee splitting available for hours billed above target. Many opportunities for mentoring, growth, and advancement.

Hybrid - remote, work at home except for client meetings.

LONG-TERM CONTRACT POSITION.

What you'll be doing:

On a day-to-day basis, your work will include:

• Assisting senior family lawyers, including with matters related to family law litigation.
• Assisting senior civil litigation lawyers.
• Assisting more senior business lawyers with business law related matters.
• Taking on less complex client files with appropriate senior lawyer supervision.

Experience and qualifications you must have:

• At least 1 year of experience post articles.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active LSBC license.
• Preference will be given to junior lawyers with family law, civil litigation, personal injury law, or corporate law experience during or post articles.
