Workplace Education Manitoba (WEM) is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Training Administrator - Southern Manitoba to fulfill an important and multi-faceted role who will be reporting directly to the Director of Operations, Southern Manitoba.

**Job purpose**:
The purpose of this role is multi-functional. This role will:

- assist in the coordination of **Winnipeg **WEM Centre activities, workshops, and other programs as requested.
- provide administrative support to the Director of Operation **Southern** Manitoba
- ensure consistent, engaging, and relevant social media presence for regions led by the Director of Operations for Southern Manitoba
- work as a team member with all WEM/ESM members

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years of experience in Administration or Administration Certification or Diploma.
- Proven experience in maintaining social media posts on multiple platforms.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrated coordination skills with preference of experience in coordinating successful projects/programs that have met timelines and objectives.
- Strong numeracy skills, financial background an asset.
- Ability to build partnerships with individuals and partners.
- Understanding of adult education and working with adult learners
- Understanding of Essential Skills responses (assessment and training) and their implementation.
- Strong leadership skills including the ability to be forward looking, to identify change, and to be innovative.
- Ability to change focus readily to adapt to the immediate and ever-changing needs of WEM.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be a positive and informed representative of Workplace Education Manitoba.
- Understand and be able to represent WEM assessments and training responses.
- Winnipeg WEM Centre and other program coordination.
- Manage activities, coordinate Service Providers, and perform required administrative duties along with Winnipeg WEM Center Site Coordinator
- Be an active member of the WEM team to bring forward ideas for ES responses, need or future activities.
- Coordination of workshops and other deliveries as needed to meet objectives and deliverables.
- Maintain partnerships from projects coordinated by this role., or as requested.
- Support evaluation of projects through information and data collection as directed by the Director of Operations.
- Providing support in sourcing information for partnerships, ongoing projects
- Provide support and assistance to the Director of Operations on day-to-day organizational activities including:

- Administrative tasks to support this process as needed including but not inclusive to:
Receive and send electronic mail using a clear, professional, and pleasant message.

Arrange and prepare for meetings with internal /external stakeholders.

Record and prepare minutes of meetings.

Create, update, and maintain filing systems.

Monitor and verify operational costs in the monthly cash flow, in coordination with the Director of Operations

Updating Director on upcoming rental contract renewals

Source resources for Southern WEM centers

Provide support and assistance to the Director of Operations on day-to-day organizational activities.

Assisting in guideline/process document writing.

Track and document project progression for the region in support of overall budgeting and goal setting for the Director of Operations area(s) of responsibility.
- Support the financial duties of the Director of Operations by:

- Monitor and verify office expenses in the monthly cash flow, in coordination with the Director of Operations.
- Updating and maintaining financial information for Director of Operations’ dockets of projects within.
- Provide follow-up to vendors regarding payments and outstanding invoices if required.
- Reporting on projects and activities to provide ability for WEM to report activities and outcomes to funder.
- Social Media and Organization of Communication pieces
- Establish and maintain social media presence for Southern Regions through use of platforms including but not inclusive to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
- Assist with updating online calendar for Southern Regions including website and government calendars.
- Coordinating outcome stories for workplace and learners
- Collecting and organizing approved communication pieces for Southern Regions
- Other duties as assigned.

**Job Type**:Full Time (37.5 hrs per week)

Work Location: Winnipeg.
