Position Description

As a
Commercial Account Manager for the Canadian market
, your
dual role
within Summit is that of account management and new business development. This role combines both
inside and outside business-to-business sales efforts
. Your focus in this role is to build and maintain successful long-term relationships with Summit's commercial Lease and Fleet Management clients, while continuing to grow the account base. Your ability to under promise and over deliver will help ensure perpetual retention of Summit's clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Present proposals and solutions to all levels of staff
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients
  • Maintain and share knowledge of competitors in the market
  • Communicate with Summit client support staff regularly
  • Participate in ongoing Summit sales training and industry product learning
  • Maintain a database of qualified prospects within Summit's CRM - Salesforce

Qualifications

We need the right personality for the job, someone who can work with a team and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Post-Secondary education with business/financial degree is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of successful history in a commercial leasing or account management role
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills are required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of leasing, financing, and fleet management practices is an asset
  • Experience using Salesforce is an asset
  • Fleet or dealership experience is an asset

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary, monthly commission, bonuses, company vehicle, and expense reimbursement.
