Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the daily operations of our growing company. This is a unique opportunity to step into a role that blends hands-on operational management with the agility and variety of an entrepreneurial business. You will play a key role in streamlining processes, managing vendors, and ensuring smooth execution across projects — all while helping us reduce costs and scale sustainably. Most importantly, you will be part of a mission-driven team working to provide safe, clean water to communities and properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timeliness across departments.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service providers, negotiating favorable terms to optimize costs.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to improve productivity and reduce expenses.
  • Collaborate with leadership on operational strategy, planning, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Coordinate with sales, engineering, and service teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare reports for management, identifying risks and opportunities for efficiency and savings.
  • Maintain operational dashboards and documentation in Notion to track projects, costs, and team performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in an operations, project management, or supply chain role (experience in construction, water, or engineering industries a strong asset).
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying inefficiencies and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with Notion,Asana or other project management software project tracking, documentation, and team coordination is highly valued.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: adaptable, resourceful, and motivated to grow with the company.
