Role Summary
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for managing discovery calls and maintaining the sales pipeline. You will engage with prospective customers to assess their needs, introduce them to BRM, and qualify them for the next stage of the sales process. This role focuses on lead qualification, pipeline organisation, and early-stage prospect engagement rather than full-cycle sales.
You will also perform Sales Demos - but this will require you to have some base product knowledge, which might take up to 1-2 months to fully acquire.
This is a remote position requiring strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple inbound and outbound prospect interactions efficiently. You will work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to enquiries
from the sales inbox, ensuring potential customers receive timely responses.
- Conduct discovery calls
with potential customers, understanding their needs and introducing them to BRM.
- Qualify leads
based on defined criteria, passing promising prospects to the sales team.
- Manage and maintain the sales pipeline
, ensuring leads are categorised correctly and followed up on in a timely manner.
- Assist with restoring and maintaining pipeline data accuracy
, ensuring that outdated or unqualified leads are removed or re-engaged as necessary.
- Document and track all interactions
with prospects using the CRM system.
- Collaborate with sales leadership
to refine messaging and prospecting strategies.
- Sales Demos
explain the core benefits of our system
- Sales Nurturing
to proactively ensure that your prospects are enabled to access value in our system by showing them (or doing yourself) the next step in their onboarding.
- Outreach / Consultancy
- to our existing customers to upsell them new products
- E.g. if doing rental, perhaps they can do repairs?
- Do an audit of their BRM usage / Customer Booking Page
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to managing and nurturing leads.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Passion for cycling, outdoor activities, or experience in the bike, ski, or equipment reservation sectors is a plus.
