The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the President, the Director of Sales will oversee SharpLight's national sales operations and international distribution channels, driving growth through leadership, strategy, and partnership excellence.
This individual will manage a high-performing team of Territory Managers & Sales Leaders — aligning global sales execution with SharpLight's corporate vision for innovation and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, coach, and develop the national and international sales teams to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Define and execute strategic sales plans across Canada and global distribution markets (North America, LATAM, Europe, APAC).
- Build scalable systems for forecasting, reporting, and territory performance optimization.
- Identify market trends, pricing dynamics, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement through KPIs, performance dashboards, and accountability frameworks.
International Distribution Management
- Oversee and strengthen SharpLight's global network of distributors and strategic partners.
- Negotiate distribution agreements, commercial terms, and exclusivity frameworks in alignment with company policies.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop localized campaigns, training, and launch support.
- Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and annual territory planning with distributors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Marketing, Clinical, and Operations teams to synchronize go-to-market initiatives, campaigns, and product releases.
Team Development
- Inspire a culture of excellence, accountability, and growth within the sales organization.
- Mentor team members to build leadership capability and career advancement pathways.
- Support recruiting and onboarding of new sales and distribution talent.

Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in medical aesthetics, medical devices, or capital equipment.
- Proven track record in international business development or distributor management.
- Strong understanding of territory management, pricing strategy, and global sales operations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop people, and deliver on ambitious targets.
- Fluent in English; multilingual (French, Spanish, or Portuguese) considered a strong asset.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25%).
