Role Description

This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role for a Concrete Finishing Foreman based in Langley, BC. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day concrete finishing activities, ensuring quality workmanship, and coordinating with crews for tasks such as formwork, concrete placement, and finishing. The Concrete Finishing Foreman will also supervise the use of heavy equipment, ensure safety standards are met, and communicate progress with site managers.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Formwork and Carpentry
  • Experience with Heavy Equipment operation and handling
  • Knowledge of Flatwork and Ready Mix Concrete procedures
  • Proven leadership skills to coordinate and supervise teams
  • Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project specifications
  • Relevant certifications or training in concrete finishing techniques and safety practices are a plus
  • Experience in geotechnical or shotcrete placement is an asset
  • Fluent in English
  • ACI Certification;
