Trucoast Concrete is a residential concrete formwork company that focuses on single family, townhome and light commerical forming and placing.

The area's that we work in are located throughout the Fraser Valley with projects that take place in Surrey, Langley, Coquitlam, Mission & Abbotsford.

Description of Duties:

- Work alongside our crew members to achieve quality and schedule goals, building footings, foundation walls, installing rebar, placing concrete and stripping foundations
- Properly store and protect equipment and tools
- Communicate with clients and crew members in a professional manner
- Participate in creating a healthy, enjoyable work environment and company culture
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional presentation of work sites

Skills & Requirements:

- Strong work ethic, detail oriented and enjoys challenging themselves
- Ability to give & receive direction while achieving daily goals
- Capable of looking ahead to the next work front while ensuring completion of the current tasks
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- At least two years of experience with concrete forming & placing of concrete
- Strong motivational, self starting and goal focussed abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Proven experience in assisting in leadership of a crew
2-3 years experience with:

- Residential formwork systems and a basic understanding of residential framing
practices
- Strong understanding and able to interpret architectural and structural
drawings
- Capable of completing a footing build & pour with little assistance in layout, or
know how or interpretations of drawings
Capable of completing a layout, wall build, rebar install & pour with little
assistance in know how or interpretation of drawings
- Placing concrete, vibrating & finishing of concrete to quality standards
- Capable of assisting the foreman in leading a crew of 2-3 people on a regular
basis
- Strong attention to detail, able to make decisions based on information and
factors that occur regularly on a construction site
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to carry 100lbs frequently in a fast paced environment

Additional Skills:

- Knowledge of Duraform style forming systems
- Framing experience
- The ability to assist in achieving production targets & quality control
standards
Able to coordinate & manage inspections dates, concrete pours, mobilization &
demobilization and various sub-trades

Must Have:

- Valid drivers license & reliable transportation
- Grade 12 education
- Tool pouch & all basic hand tools
- PPE including hard hat, work boots and rain/summer outdoor gear

**Salary**: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour depending on experience & up to 6% performance based pay
