PSI Concrete Pumping (KC's Pumping Services Inc.) is a family owned and operated business located in Abbotsford, B.C. offering our services in Greater Vancouver, throughout the Fraser Valley and surrounding areas. We provide concrete pumping and placing and finishing services for residential, commercial, and industrial sites. We are currently seeking to hire several concrete finishers in permanent, full time positions, to start as soon as possible for our many upcoming projects. You will be based out of Abbotsford, BC, and our projects are throughout the Greater Vancouver urban area. Our starting wage is $36.60/hour based upon a 40-hour work week. We offer medical benefits, dental benefits, vision care benefits and life insurance benefits. You will be working on site. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. You should be willing to be flexible with shift work, on-call and willing to work overtime. Hours can be early morning, morning, day, evening, night as well as weekends. You must speak English with excellent oral communication skills. You should have completed high school and have between 2 to less than 3 years' experience Specifically, you will be operating power vibrators to compact concrete; level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications; impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools; apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces; repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures. You will be working with colours and sealers, reinforcing membrane and protective coverings, hardeners and epoxies and light weight concrete. The work can be physically demanding including handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time. There is attention to detail and sound discrimination. Work sites can be dusty, hot, cold/refrigerated, outdoors, dangerous, noisy, wet/damp and you may be working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. You should have steel toed safety boots. Our work sites are commercial, industrial, residential, institutional, roads and bridges and sidewalks and curbs.
