Calgary AB TE W, Canada Rapid Response Restoration Full time

We are seeking an experienced IICRC certified Restoration Technician to join the Rapid Response team. A qualified individual will be dedicated, hard working, organized, able to follow directions and make decisions, ability to learn quickly and ambition to advance in the company. Must be able to work as a team and individually. This is a full-time position. Typical hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm. You will be required to work overtime if needed and because we operate 24/7 you will be required to be on an on-call schedule that will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The company offers competitive industry wages and benefits after 3 months. Must have Class 5 drivers license and a clean drivers abstract. Company vehicle is provided during working hours, but you need to have your own reliable vehicle to arrive to our office each day.

Responsibilities

Handle projects during the emergency phase effectively and efficiently while communicating with the Project Manager and Owner on concerns and status.

Main Activities

· Responding to on call emergencies

· Water extraction

· Mold remediation

· Fire remediation

· Tear out with rebuild in mind

· Assessing emergencies and creating a plan of action to mediate the situation

· Assisting in vehicle inspections

· Dropping off and picking up of equipment

· Installing equipment

· Daily monitoring of equipment

· Filling out paperwork, ex. Time sheets, hazard assessments, Psychrometric readings

· Taking daily photos and submitting them to appropriate personnel

· Training new employees and assistant technicians

· Signing in and out equipment

· Signing in and out of inventory

· Cleaning

· Making sure vehicles are stocked at all times

· Cleaning equipment

· Ensuring equipment is in proper working order, getting repaired if needed

· Promoting safety

· Keeping certifications valid

· Field work may be required

· Other tasks assigned by office personnel

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge

The candidate must have proficient knowledge of the following areas:

· Fluent in English

· Knowledge of the equipment and how it operates

· IICRC tickets in water or fire or mold.

· Class 5 Drivers Licence
