Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Technical Writer specialized in Procurement Policies for a temporary, part-time role with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be tasked with crafting clear and comprehensive procurement policy documents, requiring collaboration with internal stakeholders, adherence to best practices, and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner. This position operates remotely but requires the individual to be within proximity of Toronto,ON for occasional hub visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine procurement policies and procedures for clarity and user engagement.
  • Work closely with procurement professionals to gather insights and ensure document accuracy.
  • Research procurement best practices and integrate findings into policy creation.
  • Regularly update policies to reflect regulatory changes and organizational objectives.
  • Design templates and standards for future procurement documentation.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong grasp of procurement processes and policy development.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
  • Proficiency in document creation tools and software.

Industry Experience
Previous experience in a technical writing role focusing on procurement, compliance, or a similar field within a corporate environment is preferred but not necessary. Knowledge of procurement regulations and project management is advantageous.
