Are you a detail-obsessed Technical Writer who loves turning complex concepts into simple content that is enjoyable to read? Are you energized by collaborating with product managers and developers to ship docs that help people complete goals? Can you keep terminology and tone consistent across product documentation?
Litmus is looking for a talented writer to join the team.
What You Will Do:
Use your superior writing skills and attention to detail to conceptualize, plan, develop, and write high-quality documentation in plain language
Translate complex technical concepts into information that any reader can understand
Collaborate with product managers and developers to deliver accurate content that supports software releases and drives user adoption
- Clarify terminology, apply our style guide, and promote consistency in the product and documentation
- Drive innovation and experiment with AI, UI writing, SEO, information architecture, and rich media
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another relevant field
- *3+ years*
of Technical Writing experience - *1+ years*
of experience in software documentation, online help development, API documentation, installation and user guides, and release notes - Strong technical aptitude to learning products through hands-on experience
- Proven technical writing and editing skills and superior command of the English language
- Strong understanding of topic-based authoring and reusable information architecture
- Experience with Confluence and Markdown
- Experience with API tools, such as Swagger and Postman
