Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation of all kitchenware, ensuring the smooth operation of our food service environment. Responsibilities

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitise dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using appropriate cleaning methods.
  • Ensure all items are clean, organised, and stored correctly for easy access by kitchen staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and surrounding surfaces.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling or chopping vegetables when required.
  • Support the kitchen team during busy periods by ensuring a steady supply of clean utensils and equipment.
  • Follow health and safety procedures to uphold hygiene standards within the kitchen environment.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with food preparation and basic cooking techniques is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality setting demonstrates ability to work efficiently under pressure.
