Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment to support smooth food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with a keen eye for cleanliness and teamwork. Previous experience in restaurant, catering, or hotel settings is preferred but not mandatory. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain culinary and hospitality experience while contributing to a high-quality dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health standards
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients as directed by chefs or kitchen staff
  • Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are clean and ready for guests
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, work surfaces, and storage areas
  • Assist with food handling and storage to ensure proper hygiene and safety protocols are followed
  • Support catering events or banquet setups as needed, including moving supplies and setting up service stations
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to uphold health regulations and prevent contamination

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hotel environments is advantageous but not required
  • Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as cleaning, food handling, and dishwashing is preferred
  • Experience in banquet service or culinary roles such as cooking or food preparation can be beneficial
  • Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
