Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. This role is essential to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Duties

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques.
  • Ensure all items are clean, organized, and stored appropriately for easy access by kitchen staff.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including handling food items safely and following hygiene standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
  • Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing dishwashing duties to prevent delays in service.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to uphold sanitation standards within the kitchen environment.
  • Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures as required.

Skills

  • Strong attention to cleanliness and detail in food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and food service is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
  • Good teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items such as pots or trays when necessary.
  • Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and safety protocols related to food service environments. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
