Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by managing various administrative tasks and facilitating effective communication across departments. This position requires excellent organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment and information.
  • Update and maintain the project schedule.
  • Maintain shop inventory and coordinate shipping/receiving.
  • Complete prequalification packages for job bids.
  • Coordinate timesheets and production report submissions between field staff and head office.
  • Coordinate contracts with clients, vendors, subcontractors and other stakeholders
  • Read and interpret blue prints to ensure project accuracy.
  • Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project coordination within the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and external partners.
  • Experience with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as AutoCad and Civil 3D.
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project coordination and blueprint interpretation.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong leadership skills.
