Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting staff to join our public practice team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tax returns and financial statements for small businesses. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax practices, as well as proficiency in relevant software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
  • perform bookkeeping and account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data.
  • Utilize QuickBooks and CaseWare for efficient financial management.
  • Use ProFile to prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Skills

  • Experience with QuickBooks, CaseWare, and ProFile applications.
  • Excellent account reconciliation skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
