DCGroup is seeking a self-starter and highly motivated individual
who can work autonomously to deliver results with accuracy and professionalism. As an Account Executive within our group of companies, you will be responsible for developing and managing new business opportunities across a range of payment solutions, including card issuing, digital wallets, money movement, and embedded banking services.

The ideal candidate
has experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales ranging from Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) to Enterprise and understands how modern payment technologies support business growth. This role is based out of our
Calgary AB
or
Toronto ON
office.

In this role a successful candidate will have the following specific role responsibilities:

  • Targeting new business opportunities with the objective of securing profitable new accounts. You will seek to understand the clients' objectives and work to provide a built for purpose solution that may range from a simple online setup to a full suite of APIs supporting advanced platforms and system integrators.
  •  Conduct face-to-face, in-person sales, attending tradeshows and networking events, and generating new business through multiple channels, including cold calling and proactive outreach.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts by fostering relationships and introducing new products or capabilities.
  • Facilitate all aspects of the client relationship, including presentations, proposals, strategy, and negotiations. Assist with client documentation and onboarding, identify the appropriate level of relationship management, and coordinate introductions with other teams within DCGroup.
  • Build and nurture a sales pipeline, following opportunities through the complete sales cycle.
  • Work to meet or exceeds quarterly and annual revenue and margin targets.
  • Perform other duties related to account management and prospecting new business, as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess some or all the following skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years selling business-to-business
  • Background in Payments, Fintech, or adjacent sectors including Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and eCommerce.
  • Intermediate skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and a general proficiency with MS Teams, and HubSpot.
  • Foundational understanding of Canada's payment ecosystem, including INTERAC e-Transfer, electronic funds transfers (EFT), card networks, and AML/KYC policies and procedures.
