Overview

We are seeking full-time and part-time dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Maker/cashier to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about food service, with a focus on pizza preparation and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling and restaurant operations, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping ingredients, assembling toppings, and portioning dough
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed during food handling and meal preparation
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or table
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas throughout shifts
  • Handle food with care to ensure quality and safety during meal preparation and service
  • Support team members in maintaining smooth restaurant operations during busy hours

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles, especially within the food industry or restaurant environment
  • Food handler certificate would be considered as an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent serving skills with a friendly, customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques specific to pizza making
  • Kitchen experience that demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and adaptability
  • Knowledge of food industry best practices related to sanitation, safety, and quality control
