LX Black Box Cyber and IT Solutions, under the Lexia Group of Companies, is seeking a proactive and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to manage and safeguard the digital infrastructure of our clients. The successful candidate will take ownership of client data protection, privacy enforcement, and cybersecurity best practices, ensuring the security of their systems, networks, and sensitive information. This role is ideal for a security professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is committed to delivering the highest standards of information confidentiality, integrity, and compliance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor, detect, and respond to real-time security threats, breaches, and anomalies across client systems.

· Implement, maintain, and regularly update VPNs, firewalls, encryption protocols, antivirus tools, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) for client environments.

· Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and close security gaps in client networks and applications.

· Ensure the security of client, vendor, and employee data, including financial and banking information, credit card data, and confidential communications.

· Design and enforce cybersecurity policies and protocols for clients that comply with PIPEDA, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, and other applicable data protection regulations.

· Manage security awareness training programs for client staff, educating them on phishing prevention, secure data handling, and responsible use of company systems.

· Review and analyze security logs and reports from client systems; investigate and respond to any suspicious activity or data incidents.

· Ensure all VPN configurations on client devices and networks are secure and properly managed.

· Protect sensitive information related to client agreements, vendor contracts, and third-party access.

· Implement and maintain end-to-end encryption for client data in transit and at rest.

· Participate in risk assessments, compliance checks, and audits to ensure comprehensive data protection controls are in place for clients.

· Stay informed about current and emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies affecting client information security and privacy.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations.

· Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.

· Experience with VPNs, SIEM tools, endpoint security, encryption, and incident response.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to clearly communicate security issues and solutions.
