Summary

We are seeking a passionate full-time Barista/Server to join our team at Seed N Salt, where kindness, community, and healthy eating come first. In this role, you'll be at the heart of the guest experience, welcoming customers, taking orders through our POS system, preparing beverages with care, and ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression. Your attention to detail, friendly service, and love for connecting with people will help create the warm, inspiring environment our guests know and love.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and food items
  • Provide outstanding customer service to enhance the guest experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment
  • Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions
  • Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Engage with customers to foster a welcoming atmosphere
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals
  • Qualifications
  • Proven barista experience or equivalent in a café setting
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to understand and navigate the menu to guide customers based on dietary needs, allergies, and preferences
