Padmanadi is a plant based eatery on Macleod & Heritage.

We are looking for Part Time server/ barista to join our new team on Sunday, Friday and every second Saturday

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the cash register
- Handle cash transactions and provide customers with accurate change
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling and preparing food items
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflow

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking and preparation
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds

**Summary**

As a Part Time Barista/Server, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. Your core skills in barista experience and serving will enable you to prepare and serve high-quality beverages and food items. Proficiency in POS systems and time management will enhance your efficiency in processing orders and transactions. Additionally, your knowledge of food safety and basic math will ensure compliance with health standards and accurate cash handling. **Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 18 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
