Recruitment & Retention Specialist

Principle Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for skilled trades, technical roles, and leadership positions
  • Build proactive sourcing pipelines and manage LinkedIn Recruiter strategies
  • Partner with Branch Managers and GMs to forecast staffing needs
  • Strengthen Hercules' employer brand and talent attraction efforts
  • Analyze turnover data and lead branch-level retention plans
  • Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews
  • Develop onboarding, engagement, and early-retention programs
  • Coach leaders on recruitment and retention best practices
  • Track metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and retention trends

Required knowledge and training

  • 5+ years full-cycle recruitment experience (technical/industrial preferred)
  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Premium and other direct sourcing tools
  • Ability to build relationships and influence leaders
  • Experience analyzing data and using metrics to drive decisions
  • Background in retention planning, engagement, or onboarding (asset)
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Post-secondary education in HR or Business (CPHR an asset)
