The Field Service Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting, setting up, and maintaining Purple Cow's TV and Phone services in customers' homes. In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring that our customers have a seamless experience with their products, requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication.
In order to fulfill the tasks at hand, you'll need to be highly experienced with this entire stack:
Expected Outcomes:
- Customer Service Excellence
- Visit customers' homes to provide technical support and resolve issues with Purple Cow's home phone and TV services.
- Educate customers on product features, functionality, and usage to enhance their experience.
Address any concerns or questions, delivering clear and professional communication throughout service visits.
Technical Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
- Perform initial setup and configuration of Purple Cow equipment, ensuring all services are functioning correctly.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity for Purple Cow products.
Diagnose problems efficiently and implement solutions to minimize disruption to services.
Documentation & Reporting
- Document service activities, including resolutions, recommendations, and follow-up actions using company systems and tools.
Stay updated on product developments and industry trends to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction
Collaboration & Team Support
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve more complex issues.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain consistency and high-quality service guidelines.
To be Successful in this Role, You Should Have:
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent (additional technical certifications or education are a plus).
- Strong proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, with critical thinking and independent problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage professionally with both customers and colleagues.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as this position requires traveling to customers' homes.
- Ability to pass a criminal record check and be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as customer demand may require.
