Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and continuous improvement within the plant. This role is essential in driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of safety and productivity. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in managing resources, optimizing supply chain management, and implementing lean manufacturing principles to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Implement and manage production planning processes to optimize resource allocation and efficiency.
  • Utilize WebCabs and other ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for effective data management and reporting.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process enhancement, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor supply chain analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement in supply chain management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among all employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production goals with business objectives.
  • Manage quality control processes to maintain high standards in product output.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to plant staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management or operations management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production management principles, lean manufacturing techniques, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in WebCab or similar ERP systems; experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in supply chain analytics and management.
  • Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to engage team members at all levels.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing quality control measures and achieving operational targets.
