Overview

We are young and growing automotive shop seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their automotive service experience. Your expertise in automotive repair and exceptional customer service skills will ensure that our clients receive the highest level of care and attention.

Duties

  • Greet customers professionally and assess their vehicle service needs
  • Communicate clearly regarding recommended repairs, timelines, and costs
  • Prepare accurate estimates and explain services to customers with clarity and honesty
  • Manage the daily service schedule and ensure efficient workflow in the shop
  • Book appointments via phone, email, and in-person visits
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate and timely service completion
  • Order required parts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Handle customer payments (cash/card) and maintain accurate transaction records
  • Proactively follow up with customers regarding vehicle status and post-service feedback
  • Address any customer concerns professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role
  • Familiarity with Mitchell1 TeamWorks SE or ShopKey is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable handling payments and managing scheduling systems
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism
