Operational Geotechs specialise in providing practical, site based, geotechnical and backfill engineering services to multiple mine sites. We are a small but growing company, family friendly, operating across Canada with an expanding global footprint.

Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for an experienced Administration Officer to join our growing company.

About the Role:

  • Liaise with clients' site administrators to facilitate site entry, travel, and accommodation bookings.
  • Booking flights, hire cars, and arranging accommodation for our team.
  • Managing booking changes and responding to urgent requests from clients/ employees.
  • Maintaining accurate records, documentation and basic reporting.
  • Administration and organisation of pre-employment requirements, inductions, forms, PPE, and supplies for new starters.
  • Provide a point of contact for mobilisation / demobilisation enquiries for site personnel.
  • Implementing and improving administrative workflows for tasks above.
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks.

About You:

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Reliable and calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams.
  • Numerical ability and data entry skills, along with intermediate Excel skills.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience with payroll software, QBO or Payworks.

This role would suit someone looking for casual work with the flexibility of working from home.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
