Kitchener ON NG X, Canada Rookie + Ace Multi-Sport Inc. Full time

We are looking for a weekend receptionist who could work at two separate locations: Rookie + Ace Multi-Sport and The Zone Training. Both businesses are in the field of recreation and children's sports and the responsibilities of the weekend receptionist are the same at each business. Work location would be assigned on a week-to-week basis.

Company Information:

Rookie + Ace Multi-Sport is a 9,000 sq. ft. facility located at 137 Glasgow Street in Kitchener. It features a Padel court, a Pickleball court and a Multi-Sport court. The focus of our business is to deliver multi-sport programs, camps and leagues for ages 2-15. We also have adult Pickleball and Padel programming, leagues and court rentals for Adults.

The Zone Training is a hockey training centre located at 483 Conestogo Road in Waterloo. We offer skating lessons and hockey programming for all ages but focus mostly on ages 3-12.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookings, registrations and customer inquiries in person and via phone/email
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks assigned by management
  • General upkeep and cleaning of the facility

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma Preferred (or in process of obtaining)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications – especially in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Background in sport(s). Familiarity with pickleball, padel and hockey an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and time management skills.
  • Interested in working independently.
  • First Aid & CPR – C certification.

Schedule:

Typically 8am - 12pm or 8am - 4pm on weekends. Shift timing must be flexible due to the nature of the business and may vary on occasion (ie we may need you from 9am – 5pm one day).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
