Role OverviewWe are looking for an Account Manager who thrives on creativity, organization, and collaboration. From signature fundraising galas to high-profile conferences and corporate activations, you'll have the opportunity to lead programs that inspire communities and elevate brands.

As an Account Manager, you will oversee client relationships, shape event concepts, and manage integrated campaigns from start to finish. You will guide the planning, creative development, production, and execution of events, working with internal teams, vendors, and partners to bring every detail to life.

The ideal candidate has exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, is resourceful and adaptable, and thrives in fast-paced environments with multiple deliverables. Above all, you know how to build trust with clients and deliver polished, impactful experiences.

Core ResponsibilitiesClient Relations

  • Build strong relationships with clients based on trust, respect, and collaboration
  • Act as the main client partner, producing and executing on their behalf with excellence
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and status calls with proactive solutions
  • Manage client review and approvals across creative, logistical, and production deliverables

Event and Creative Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of galas, fundraising initiatives, conferences, and brand experiences
  • Translate client objectives into memorable creative concepts and guest experiences
  • Oversee creative development, including event branding, staging, design, video, and digital content
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and production staff to ensure cohesive and on-brand execution
  • Manage digital platforms such as registration systems, mobile apps, and audience engagement tools

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and coach Account Coordinators and support staff
  • Build and lead on-site event teams, including production crews and volunteers
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery

Financial Management

  • Develop small, medium, and large program budgets and review with clients, providing transparent breakdowns
  • Manage budget tracking, approvals, and reconciliations in collaboration with the finance team
  • Negotiate and manage vendor and supplier contracts

Business Operations

  • Proactively solve challenges and suggest improvements to processes
  • Contribute to team culture by supporting initiatives and committees
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in galas, fundraising, conferences, and event design to bring fresh ideas to clients

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years working as an account lead or project manager in an event or creative agency environment
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale galas, conferences, or fundraising events from start to finish
  • Strong creative instincts with the ability to translate client goals into engaging guest experiences
  • Extensive experience in live event production and logistics
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to thrive under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the confidence to influence clients and stakeholders
  • Leadership and mentoring ability with a collaborative spirit
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management tools
  • Familiarity with design platforms or visual storytelling tools is a plus
  • Experience with digital event platforms (registration, mobile apps, engagement tools) is an asset
