Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service and familiarity with restaurant POS systems are highly valued.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist with setting up tables, cleaning dining areas, and maintaining sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Address guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and support

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
  • Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and handling transactions accurately
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
  • Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required
