About Us

We are a growing small business operating in the service industry, with multiple lines of activity. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to help manage day-to-day financial records and support our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Record and categorize daily transactions across multiple business activities
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Track income, expenses, and vendor payments
  • Prepare monthly financial summaries and reports
  • Track and assist with HST filings
  • Maintain organized digital financial records and documentation
  • Coordinate with external accountant for year-end reporting
  • Assist with payroll tracking and contractor payments (if applicable)

Requirements

  • Proven bookkeeping experience in a service-based business
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple revenue streams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Canadian tax basics (HST) is an asset
