Summary

We are seeking a Dependable Snow Equipment Operator to join our winter operations team in Grande Prairie. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our snow operations by efficiently operating various equipment to support property maintenance, contributing to our commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate snow removal equipment, including skid steers, loaders and snow dump trucks.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Clear snow from parking lots according to assignment routes.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute tasks effectively.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines during all operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Respond to snow events promptly, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Equipment Operator in snow removal.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract ( Class 3 or higher an asset)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery safely.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
  • Ability to work in cold, snowy, and icy conditions for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Reliable, punctual, and available on-call during snow events.
