Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, providing an exceptional experience to our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our café.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling and preparation.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Uphold time management skills to efficiently serve customers while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately at the POS system.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help colleagues as needed.
  • Passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
