Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Barista (Customer Service Representative) to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service environments, including barista and serving roles, and possess strong skills in POS systems, cash handling, and food safety. This position offers an engaging work environment where excellent communication and time management skills are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a timely manner
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and payment handling
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to safety standards and company procedures
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards during food preparation and service
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
  • Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for orders, and inventory checks as needed

Experience

  • Prior experience in food industry roles such as barista, server, or food prep is preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Experience in food handling, safety procedures, and basic math for transactions
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining quality service
  • Previous cashiering or cash handling experience is beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$23.76 per hour
