As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Vice President of Operations to help guide our next chapter, strengthening our culture, elevating operational excellence, and supporting the growth and development of our teams.Position OverviewThe Vice President of Operations (VP of Operations) will serve as a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving performance, and fostering a positive, engaged, and growth-oriented culture.Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this individual will play a key role in ensuring that operational strategies align with our mission, support exceptional patient experiences, and create an environment where team members feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership

  • Oversee operations across multiple orthodontic practices, ensuring excellence, efficiency, and consistency in service delivery.
  • Develop and implement systems, processes, and best practices that improve the patient and team experience.
  • Partner closely with clinical leadership to ensure operational alignment with clinical goals and patient care standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement data-driven improvements to enhance performance, growth, and profitability.

Culture & Team Development

  • Champion a culture rooted in collaboration, respect, accountability, and growth.
  • Lead and mentor practice managers and operations teams, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Build leadership capacity across the organization through coaching, clear communication, and empowerment.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, recognition, and retention.

Strategic & Financial Management

  • Collaborate with the CEO and finance team to create budgets, forecasts, and performance goals aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and operational innovation.
  • Oversee vendor and partner relationships, ensuring quality and value for the organization.

Patient Experience & Quality

  • Champion initiatives that elevate the patient experience, ensuring a seamless, compassionate, and efficient journey from consultation to treatment completion.
  • Monitor feedback and quality indicators, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, ideally in orthodontics, dental, or multi-site clinical environments.
  • Proven success leading teams, improving performance, and fostering a positive culture across multiple locations.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to balance operational efficiency and team well-being.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for developing people and creating a workplace where teams feel inspired and connected to purpose.
