Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. This role requires a strong understanding of both hardware and software components across multiple operating systems such as Android and iOS. The technician will also assist customers with technical issues, provide troubleshooting support, and ensure high-quality service in a retail or repair environment.

Duties

  • Diagnose and repair hardware issues on mobile devices, including screens, batteries, and internal components using hand tools and schematics.
  • Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems like Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.
  • Perform software updates, data recovery, and system resets to resolve device malfunctions.
  • Assist customers with technical questions regarding mobile devices and operating systems.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs and parts used for each device.
  • Use retail sales skills to recommend accessories or service plans when appropriate.
  • Follow safety procedures when handling electronic components and working with delicate hardware.

Experience

  • Proven experience repairing mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
  • Familiarity with operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.
  • Experience with software troubleshooting techniques for mobile devices and computer systems.
  • Ability to use hand tools effectively for device repairs.
  • Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of hardware or software issues quickly.
  • Prior retail sales experience is a plus for customer interaction roles but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical skills are valued and developed further through hands-on experience with the latest mobile technology.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$26.59 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 48 per week
