Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile devices, operating systems, and hardware components. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various smartphones and tablets, including Android and iOS devices, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The technician will also assist with retail sales and provide technical support for software troubleshooting and hardware issues. A background in computer hardware, analysis skills, and familiarity with schematics and hand tools are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets across Android and iOS platforms
  • Perform software troubleshooting to resolve operating system issues on mobile devices
  • Use schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify hardware faults
  • Conduct repairs involving computer hardware components when necessary
  • Utilize hand tools effectively for disassembly, repair, and reassembly of devices
  • Assist retail customers with device setup, troubleshooting, and product recommendations
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
  • Stay updated on the latest mobile device technologies, operating systems (macOS, Windows), and industry trends

Experience

  • Proven experience repairing mobile devices, including familiarity with Android and iOS operating systems
  • Knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience working with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
  • Strong analysis skills to identify issues quickly and accurately
  • Retail sales experience is a plus, especially in electronics or mobile device environments
  • Hands-on experience using hand tools for device repair is preferred
  • Familiarity with macOS and Windows operating systems is beneficial for supporting various customer needs
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with clear communication skills to explain technical issues to customers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
