Office / Administrative Clerk

Wetaskiwin Co-op is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Office / Administrative Clerk to join our team. Reporting to the Financial Manager/ Controller, this position plays a key role in supporting the daily administrative and accounting functions of Wetaskiwin Co-op. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where accuracy and customer service are top priorities.

Wetaskiwin Co-op is located in central Alberta operating in 9 locations in 5 communities of Wetaskiwin, Innisfail, Camrose, Edmonton and Falun. We operate in a variety of product lines including consumer hardware, building products, crop inputs, petroleum, liquor and feed manufacturing. Areas of responsibility:

  • Customer service- provide friendly and helpful assistance to assist members, customers, and suppliers with professionalism and care.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support- including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily cash balancing.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, standards, and contribute to a positive team environment.

Who you are:

You're looking for a career in Retail and

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with accounting JDE or POS software is an asset
  • Previous administrative, office, or accounting experience preferred. Experience in a retail setting is not compulsory but is an asset.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

Pay: $16.36-$27.26 per hour
