1. Post Secondary Degree/Diploma
2. Strong aptitude for analysis and interpretation of data
3. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
4. Demonstrated communication, problem solving and organizational skills
5. Strong interpersonal skills coupled with a desire to be a team player
6. Demonstrated ability to learn new software an asset
7. Meditech knowledge preferred
The Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) is a collaborative program funded and operated jointly by the Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph's Hospital. The Program is committed to change and innovation, through education, service and research, to bring the highest quality science into health care for the benefit of the community, and to participate in the clinical application and interpretation of the science.
The Point of Care Testing (POCT) Program Analyst will assist the Quality Manager with data management and Quality Management System support for Point of Care Testing. The Program Analyst will be responsible for maintaining records, applying knowledge of regulations, policies, protocols and/or procedures to control and maintain accurate records; dealing with a large volume of information which may require the need to be screened, grouped, summarized or transcribed; preparing a variety of status and monitoring reports; works with the POCT Specialists for operational activities.
